I highly recommend that a person goes through treatment for mercury poisoning and other metals if they have chronic Candida yeast that will not go away. Yeast and Candida infections/overgrowth are now recognized as an immune system response against heavy metals such as lead, aluminum, excess iron, and especially mercury. They also use these metals to transport their spores throughout the body and to build their biofilms. If you do not cleanse yourself of metals and you do have excess metals in your system, you will not be able to get rid of your yeast infections and Candida problems.
The symptoms of mercury and metal poisoning can also mimic the symptoms of Candida and yeast based infections. Many times what people think of as Candida is in reality mercury poisoning. You can read about some of the possible
symptoms for mercury poisoning
here. The listed symptoms are also those commonly experienced by Candida and yeast sufferers. That page also explains how to get tested if you wish to verify.
Note: You do not have to do the tests if you would rather just treat yourself for heavy metal poisoning. But the test is valuable because it gives you a starting point to monitor your progress with further testing as you treat yourself.
If you have a mercury issue follow the guidelines below.
You must prepare the body for treatment for mercury poisoning by opening the detoxification pathways prior to starting the mercury removal. If you don't do a detox in the beginning, mercury can be reabsorbed through the colon and detoxifying will become a never-ending cycle. The most important thing is to clean the colon in such a way that you’re having two bowel movements per day. This opens the detox pathways of the liver and lymphatic system and prevents re-absorption of mercury.
The best way to do that is with a colon cleanse and I prefer the Ultimate Colon Cleanse because it also kills any parasites and helps break down any yeast biofilm, which helps kill it. There are others on the market of course but if they do not kill parasites they are really a waste of time. 30 days should do it while you follow the diet unless you have abused your body for years with bad diet, then it might take 2 months.
Follow up the cleanse by taking a high dose probiotic. The
probiotics keep the detox pathways open and will help you maintain 2
bowel movements per day. They also help remove yeast from the microbial population of the gut.
I have had the best luck with
taken at a dose that produces 2 bowel movements a day. The instructions
to achieve that result are found on the respective product page. Find your dose and take the probiotic for the entire duration of mercury poisoning treatment. You have to have 2 bowel movements a day or you will re-absorb the mercury into your body.
You can also take Colosan after the cleanse is completed to stay regular if the probiotics just aren't working for you.
You should also take a multi-vitamin/mineral formula during the treatment for mercury poisoning to support your body the entire time you do this.
I suggest Intramax because I know through medical testing on myself it works. I have also tested some of the top ranked capsule forms of pre-made multi's for comparison and they are not anywhere near as effective.
However, Total Balance is very high quality and they make it in gender specific formulas and also for kids.
You should take an Omega 3 product such as Omega 3 Premium and use flax, olive and coconut oils in your diet. Take 2 to 4 capsules of Omega 3 Premium oil daily.
Eat sulfur-containing foods such as broccoli, collards, kale, daikon radish, garlic, onions, and either organic or cage free eggs because they are higher in Omega 3's. Use cilantro in your cooking or drink a daily cup of cilantro tea.
If you have access to a sauna it is a good idea to use it daily while doing this treatment for mercury poisoning. Mercury will be released as you sit in it and sweat.
Drink plenty of good clean water daily. I suggest at least half your bodyweight in ounces.
Incorporate the above into the
candida diet, which I strongly suggest you follow while undergoing Mercury removal therapy.
Now that your bodies detox pathways are open, these are your alternatives for treatment for mercury poisoning that have been proven safe and effective.
DMSA for Mercury Treatment
This webpage will give you information on dmsa and how it works to remove heavy metals.
Zeolite Treatment for Mercury Poisoning
This webpage has information on the different types of zeolite supplements available along with studies proving its effectiveness.
If you don't want to learn about DMSA or zeolite and would rather just get to it. You can get DMSA here and Zeolite here. If you prefer capsule over powder I strongly recommend Zeolite-AV or Royal Detox.
Another helpful method would be a Ionic Detox Foot Spa.
The quickest way to remove heavy metals is to take dmsa and zeolite. My suggestion is to take dmsa for five days then stop for a week to 10 days. During the time you do not take dmsa, take zeolite. Keep rotating like this until the heavy metal levels are under control.
Depending upon your level of mercury toxicity you might not be able to handle taking dmsa for a week straight. If this is the case, take it for 3 days and then take 10 days off. During the off days take zeolite.
Two weeks into the treatment for mercury poisoning, you should start taking Biofase with Profase and Microfase or simply follow this yeast cleansing system. The Biofase, Profase and Microfase will start killing the candida yeast and in doing so it releases the mercury it contains. Then the zeolite and dmsa will remove the mercury that the yeast may have absorbed.
Continue this treatment for mercury poisoning until the mercury levels are within acceptable limits or has been completely removed from your body. In severe cases, this can take 6 months.
One thing is for sure, if you have a mercury problem and don't take care of it, I honestly doubt you will ever get rid of your yeast problem.
I am not endorsing the products for mercury removal namely DMSA, Zeolite, Profase, Biofase, Microfase, Ultimate colon cleanse, CP-1, 11-strain Probiotic Powder, Omega-3 Premium, Total Balance, Colosan, and Intramax mentioned in the above article. However, the information mentioned in this article regarding the ill effects and mercury poisoning is correct.
Yeast cells grow by building biofilms around themselves in the host cells. This shield of biofilm is fortified by iron and heavy metals such as mercury and lead. There are reports that high levels of mercury lead to impairment of the immune functioning of lymphocytes, especially neutrophils which release metabolites to kill the Candida and other pathogens. (1)
A possible way to remove mercury from body is the use of chelating agents- drugs that remove mercury and other heavy metals from host organs. (2) Among different chelators, DMPS (2,3 Dimercapto-1-Propanesulfonate) has shown greater promise in a number of studies towards a reliable estimate of body burden and removal of mercury. DMPS was found to be safer than British Anti-Lewisite and more potent than DMSA. (3)
According to an article published in 2016 by Ye et al., “The therapy to symptomatic patients with mercury poisoning is chelating agents, combination therapy with chelating agents, plasma exchange, hemodialysis, and plasmapheresis. However, the further evaluations are necessary for the effects and side effects with each therapy.” (4) This study has also listed a number of chelating agents in case of acute inorganic mercury poisoning such as dimercaprol (British Anti-Lewisite, BAL), D-penicillamine (DPCN), dimercaptopropane sulfonate (DMPS), and succimer (dimercaptosuccinic acid, DMSA). Currently, no chelators have been permitted for methylmercury or ethylmercury by the U.S. FDA.
Lastly, since there are astonishing resemblances between mercury poisoning and yeast infections, the two might be closely interconnected in host. Having a yeast-suppressing Candida diet, along with necessary supplements would help in combating the issues of high mercury levels in body.
It's been a long time since our last emails. Just to bring you up to date, I completed 14 weeks of DMSA Chelation treatment ending back in August.
My lab work just came back with all the numbers down, except Antimony. The liver enzymes are almost back to normal. I just started a second round of DMSA for another 7 weeks which hopefully takes care of the rest of the mercury and antimony.
My skin is starting to heal, I feel much better physically and mentally. My energy level is way up. I finally see some light at the end of the tunnel.
And it all started with your candida diet 1 year ago. Words can't express how grateful I am. God Bless you.
