What are the long term risks of taking black walnut hull?

by Carl
(Montana)

My husband is taking 3-1500mg Black Walnut Hull Supplements 3X per day and has been doing so for quite a while!

The marks on his arms, hands & body are disappearing but very slowly. He's been on this so long I'm worried he's poisoning himself with too much BWH. He's got bloating issues which, I'm guessing, is because of the black walnut hull.

What should he do? When he stops taking BWH the marks on his body seem to return and he's afraid they're growing & multiplying again.

Any help or comments would be appreciated.

Thank you.

Long term use of black walnut hull does come with some risks.

Ingestion of large doses, can cause sedation to the heart and circulatory system.

Persons with existing liver, kidney, or gastrointestinal conditions should take black walnut with caution as it can irritate these organs.

So yes, it is possible the black walnut hull is causing the bloating issues. However, if he suffers from the bloating after meals he could have SIBO. I have more information about SIBO here if you need it.

BWH is effective for parasites but you are much better off to take blended herbal parasite formulas when treating yourself for parasites. The reason for this is, some of the parasites might have resistance to black walnut hull but not to the other herbs. Blended formulas will get them all and their eggs in 2 months or less and you don't have to continue taking the herbs.

Black walnut hull, clove, wormwood, and pumpkin seed are all very effective for parasites. Some people like to avoid wormwood because of possible side effects. If that's the case, there are other formulas such as the Purify Intestinal Cleanse, which doesn't contain wormwood. Two months of that and he would be done.

If it didn't seem to work and he's still having problems, I would see a doctor.
