A few questions about enzymes, probiotics and herbs for yeast over growth?

by Lotus

1. You mention herbs should be taken along with enzymes in order to get rid of yeast overgrowth. Which herbs are these and how should we take them?

2. Can enzymes interfere with probiotics? Or any other supplements? Should we take them separately?

3. Are enzymes safe to take if we're taking fish oil?

Thank you.

In mild cases, quite often the enzymes will be enough. Moderate to severe infections usually require the addition of herbs and probiotics to clear the infection. In all cases, you should follow the diet.

Enzymes will not interfere with probiotics in any way and we do suggest they be taken with the enzymes. If possible, herbs that contain fiber should be taken 30 to 60 minutes after the enzymes.

The enzymes will have no effect on fish oil, which should be taken with meals.

We also have a treatment page set up here that has a list of herbs and directions that you will find to be very useful. Or, you could sign up for the Treatment Plan Newsletter here that will give you step by step directions on what you should do and why.
