BRAGG'S NUTRITIONAL YEAST says that it does not contain any Candida albicans yeast. So does this mean you can use it on the diet?

You say to stay away from yeast, which I can understand that. But I know that nutritional yeast is different. But when I research nutritional yeast they say to stay from it for now. But I'm sure not all nutritional yeasts are made the same. So I'm going according to what is on the BRAGGS BOTTLE. IS BRAGGS SAFE TO USE??
Thank you in advance!

Hi Elizabeth,

I took a look at the Braggs bottle and it doesn't say what species of yeast it is made from but most nutritional yeasts are made from Saccharomyces cerevisiae, which does have nutritional benefits. However, people can get infected by this yeast. It can also cause problems with certain health conditions and interact with medications in a negative way.

The best thing for me to do is to direct you to this webpage about brewers yeast where you can review the information and decide for yourself.

Any other questions let me know.
