I see that you say to stay away from mayonnaise but then I see you say you can have chicken salad. Can I use Avocado mayo?

Most regular mayonnaise is made from soybean oil; and most soybeans are genetically modified. Many people are concerned about the long term health effects of this oil.

Soybean oil does contain a high amount of Omega 6 fatty acids that can contribute to inflammation and chronic disease over time. Combined with the fact that most modern diets are high in Omega 6 fats and low in healthy Omega 3 fats, it only makes sense to keep your consumption of Omega 6 fats down as much as possible. When your body is in a state of constant inflammation the immune system will try to repair this condition; and when fighting a Candida yeast infection, you really want your immune system going after the yeast, not trying to make repairs elsewhere.

Mayonnaise also contains white vinegar, which is extremely acidic, 2.4 to 3.4 pH. It has been said that acidity aids in Candida yeasts growth. While I have not seen any medical studies that prove this, I have seen many studies suggesting a high pH (alkaline) environment will increase its growth. I have also seen studies showing Apple Cider vinegar helps with Candida infections. Candida can live in a pH range of 2.5 to 8.0 so I kind of doubt that white vinegar matters that much.

Avocados are very good for you; and the oil makes an excellent option when cooking with high heat. They're a good source of vitamins and minerals, have heart healthy fats, contain fiber, can lower cholesterol and triglycerides, contain antioxidants, and have been shown to fight cancer.

Avocado mayonnaise typically contains avocado oil, eggs, vinegar, water, salt and a few spices with a carb content of zero. Best Foods/Hellmann's mayonnaise also has a zero carb content, but it does contain soybean oil. Miracle Whip mayonnaise contains high fructose corn syrup and cornstarch which amounts to 3 grams of carbs per Tbls and would feed Candida yeast. I don't see anything wrong with using Avodado mayonnaise; but take note of the white vinegar controversy.
