DidaClear for yeast infections most active ingredient is Undecylenic acid, which is approximately six times more effective as an anti-fungal than caprylic acid and is effective in maintaining a healthy balance of intestinal and vaginal flora.
It inhibits yeast from converting to the mycelial form we know as candida.
DidaClear has been shown to be effective in preventing fungal overgrowth associated with vaginal and gastrointestinal candidiasis via its fungicidal activity.
During lactation, oral administration of DidaClear to nursing mothers can prevent thrush in babies and is useful for the treatment of breast yeast infections. It also inhibits oral candidiasis or thrush in adults and tests have shown it to completely inhibit the growth of denture stomatitis.
It has been found to be effective against such organisms as Candida albicans, Trichophyton species, Epidermophyton inguinale, Microsporum audouini and when applied topically against the herpes simplex virus in both animals and humans.
DidaClear for yeast infections also contains the extract of garlic called allicin, which is another yeast killer.
Years of research conducted at The Garlic Centre of Battle, East Sussex, United Kingdom, the world's leading garlic research center, have proven the pharmacological activities of allicin in many areas, including:
Immune modulator--repairs, brings balance to the immune system
Allicin has been found to kill e-coli, staphylococcus which causes staph infections and Helicobacter pylori bacteria, which is now known to cause ulcers.
Johns Hopkins Medical School and the Mayo Clinic have reported that the most common cause of sinusitis is a fungal infection. Allicin is very effective with many fungi that cause these infections including Aspergillus, Candida, Coccidioides, Cryptotoccocci, Histoplasma and Trichophyton.
It has been found to reduce cholesterol levels by 12 to 40% when consumed in larger amounts for 6 weeks. Blood pressure was also significantly reduced in the test subjects.
Tumors have been proven to be reduced by half when allicin is injected into the cell. It also stops cancer-causing agents from binding to human breasts when Sallylcysteine is added.
Longevity studies conducted by Dr. Narain at the Public Health Department in Dehli, India, revealed that 98% of all "centurians" studied consumed at least one clove of garlic every day.
Caprylic acid is also in the product and is the standard go to product for most Holistic doctors when treating yeast infections. It is one of the candida yeast killing acids found in coconut oil.
Although I have not been able to find any medical proof that grapefruit seed extract kills fungi, it does kill bad bacteria and is included in DidaClear for yeast infections.
Barberry root has been added and has historically been used to treat dysentery, hepatitis, malaria, gallstones, liver tumors and high blood pressure. It also has been found to be anti-fungal although not on the level of oregano oil or Candidate.
DidaClear for yeast infections contains 2 billion cfu's of acidophilus as well. This is a very small amount but good bacteria are always helpful.
DidaClear should not be taken if you are pregnant.
